New Words & Cute Guys #22

Italian verb /cum-oo-O-veh/

     1. To move one emotionally

     2. To effect

     3. To touch one deeply on an emotional level

Commuovere is a word usually lost in translation that comes close to meaning “heartwarming,” but in the sense that it directly relates to a story that has touched one so deeply that it has moved one to affectionate tears.

La tua passione mi commuove profondamente.
Your passion effects me deeply.
