Elpída. Greek. Meaning hope
Hope. noun. /hōp/
1. A feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
2. archaic. A feeling of trust.
Michael and Christy attended prom, graduated high school,
and Michael leads the USATF tryouts. With Oxford University
on the horizon, his future looks bright, and he believes life has returned to
normal after Christy’s rescue. He couldn’t be more wrong.
Christy has been free from a life of slavery for more than a
year and has made remarkable progress due in no small part to the love he found with
Michael. But the recent prosecution of a past abuser has shattered the life
he so painstakingly built out of nothing but a mountain of horror. He
now faces the daunting task of building a new life—yet again.
Twelve-year-old Thimi has been missing since Christy left Greece
and, unbeknownst to everyone, has hidden out in a vacant mansion in Glyfada.
Learning of Christy’s survival is the only thing that brings him out of hiding.
People, open spaces, even the most common of sounds frighten him beyond reason.
A mere ghost of a boy, Thimi arrives in the US with no knowledge of the outside
world—the only constant in his life a purple marble.

Thank you again, Rush! I'm glad you're enjoying the reads. I do tend to press the boundaries a little bit in writing. Omorphi will be coming out in the next month or two. The cover is finished and I think it's great. Wow! I'd love to become one of your favorite authors. I'll keep writing if you'll keep reading!
ReplyDeleteCody~
Cody,
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I adored Omorphi, even if it left me wanting more of your characters. Incredibly well-written and endearing. Haven't had the opportunity to read Safe yet, but that's only a temporary problem, and I'm sure it will be no hardship falling in love with that host of characters when I do.
Your excerpt of Slaying Isidore's Dragons is killing me. Do you have a projection for that story's release? If you can, please let me know; it sounds fantastic.
Thanks,
Sarah
Thank you, Sarah! I'm so glad you enjoyed Omorphi! The soonest that Slaying Isidore's Dragons would be out, would be next spring. I hope you enjoy Safe and thank you for reading my books!

ReplyDeleteI apologize for the late reply, Catalina. It would seem that blogger has chosen to mysteriously misplace some comments. I'm so glad you enjoyed Omorphi and Safe! I'm pleased to say that Slaying Isidore's Dragons will be out sometime this fall and Tharros a couple of months after that. I'll be sure to announce them both so please be sure to check back. Thanks for dropping by and commenting! Hope to see you here again soon!
DeleteI was wondering what has happened to Tharros, you are posting about Slaying Isidore's Dragons but have totally stopped saying anything about Tharros. When are we likely to see it? I was so looking forward to it. Please let us know when!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your inquiry, Gothgirl! Barring unforeseen circumstances, Tharros will be out later in 2015. I chose to hold Tharros back because of its length and content. I believed it needed additional contemplation before turning it over to the publisher. I hope this answers your question. Please feel free to inquire further and thank you for taking the time to stop by and ask. It means a lot to me. Happy New Year!
DeleteI loved Omorphi and can't wait to read Tharros. I love your stories.
