And It's Only Just Started, Part I of Raidean's story, a FREE serial read by Timmy Ashton
I'm over at Love Bytes today with a very special short story written by Timmy about an intersex character, And It's Only Just Started.
It goes without saying that this story is very special to me
and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing it, Timmy. And a special
thanks to all of you for reading Timmy's story.
You Timmy are an Author in the making. You managed to tell a complete story in just a few pages. I have read much longer books with far less detail and even less emotional connection. Hearing this told from Raideans point of view made it much more personal. His thoughts and feelings hurt to read, but at the same time I was left feeling much admiration for him. As for his parents, they need a good shaking, urgh.
I really hope in the future you can write more of Raideans life. I would LOVE to see him get a HEA
Thank you so much Deeze. I do plan to write more of his story. P.S. writing in first person was very difficult. It's hard to keep the tenses right. ;) <3 Timmy
Timmy, I'm nearly at a total loss for words. That is a good thing. That is a great thing! Your words....your story, they are extremely powerful. As a reader I was engaged from the very beginning and as your story unfolded I experienced a wide range of emotions. Nice job pulling me in and keeping me invested in your story. My heart just aches for the boy he was and the young man he's become. Everyone deserves love, respect and acceptance. I was hoping he'd find that and have to admit I shed a few tears that that didn't happen. All's good though--I'm happy to have read in a comment above that we'll get to see more of Raidean.
I know this writing stuff is hard, but please, keep writing, you have a gift. I appreciate all the hard work, time, effort and research you put into this.
Hi Timmy! You are the first writer I know who has attacked this issue and I think you did an amazing job of it! I would really like to see more of Raidean-- what happens to him next? Will he find friends who fully know him and accept him because of who he is not in spite of it? You really know how to get into the head of a character and I learned from your story!! Thank you!! Keep writing!!
Thank you Mia. You will never know how much your words mean to me. I both love and respect you very much, and I love that you liked my story. I will answer all your questions in his book, promise! <3 Timmy
OMG, Timmy!! I can barely see through the tears to write this. Powerful, moving, heart-wrenching... I don't have the words to adequately describe how this made me feel. Please, my dearest Timmy, never, NEVER let anyone tell you that there is something you can't do. You are an amazing young man, and this just further proves it. I will wait with baited breath for the next installment. <3 <3 <3

DeleteUnbelievably sad. :( I was really hoping for the happy ending, but you had the courage to write it honestly. Kudos.
ReplyDeleteHis story is not done yet. He will have his happy ending, when he is older and can find a partner to respect and love him.

Wooow Timmy! This is amazing! I'm a bit of a mess right now. :'( When do we get the next installment??? It can't end like that! <3
ReplyDeleteIt won't end there. I do however, have a story already started, and I would like to finish it before taking on Raidean's book.
