  1. Love your post, and you are so right when you say: "But it’s more than that. It ensures that every generation alive today lives in a time of profound change—not only one of change in perspective, but also one of behavior and the law." I'm not sure if you're familiar with Panti Bliss (Rory O'Neill) but in case you're not I want to show the following. In February 2014 Panti gave a speech in a Dublin theatre in which she says how unfair it is that she's always checking herself when out in public, holding hands with a partner, always afraid of the violence and (verbal) abuse it might inspire. If you're interested, here's the full clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXayhUzWnl0

Less than 18 months later the marriage referendum has been passed and in an interview Panti is asked whether or not the result made a difference. The following clip gives that answers and proves you're right. The world is changing for the better and hopefully this is just the start. http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/show/10441918/

Please keep up the good work. You're a source of hope and inspiration, not just for the youngsters out there but also for those of us who are older and far more cynical. <3

    1. Thank you so very much for the wonderful comments, Helena. I very much enjoyed the clips of Panti Bliss -- a true inspiration, indeed! Her Nobel Call speech is enlightening and the following afterward shows just how much change for the better is occurring throughout the world! Thank you, Helena!
